No more cancer plotlines

Alright alright, don’t chalk me up as heartless yet. I feel for cancer patients deeply. But I also feel for, and see, the people suffering from other diseases—short and long term. I’m sick of seeing cancer plot lines as a simple way for an author to say “they’re sick” or “they’re hurt.” So I’ve made it my mission to bring you characters that represent the full spectrum of health.

We need stories

Novels help us learn empathy and understand the people around us. I aim to show you the ones hidden in the shadows, too afraid to tell you their story.

As a note, I fall in this group of individuals and draw on my own experiences and emotions to create my characters and their stories.
